Happy Fourth! Open Saturday 9:30 to 10:30!

Araya Chiropractic Wellness Center Jun 30, 2016
So hi and happy Fourth of July!  Feeling a little patriotic over here!

I am open Friday normal hours and Saturday morning from 9:30  to 10:30 and then I am off to start the weekend!  I hope it helps!   The office is closed Monday, July 4th of course!  I will leave a phone number on the machine at the office just in case I am in town and someone is not okay… okay?  Four days is a long time to wait for an adjustment if you are not okay.

Thank you for participating in Chiropractic! This time of year always reminds me that we are lucky to be free and happy and free to choose our form of healthcare!  I just looked up… chiropractic is the largest drug free profession but the difference in number is huge… there are currently 905,000 M.D’s in the U.S.  There are maybe 50,000 active chiropractors.   That’s 5.5%!  With those numbers we are lucky that chiropractic is even recognized, paid for, or even licensed.  As a side note, Lousiana was the last state with licensing, in 1972.  That means that up to  1971, it was illegal to adjust people in the whole state!  That means up to that time, chiropractors would get arrested for practicing medicine without a license.  Since 1895, the chiropractors would say, “but where is the medicine?”, how can I be practicing “medicine” when we are a drug free profession? Now maybe you know why I don’t tell you what meds to take, I usually say,  get adjusted, ice in between or if you need the meds we need to send you to your M.D!

So freedom once again isn’t free!  Keep working for those causes and ideals that are meaningful to you!  Thank you again for helping me keep alive one that is important to me.

Lots of free and happy to you and your family.

oh ya and in case you were looking for permission, hot dogs and hamburgers and potato salad are considered health food on the Fourth of July, right?

5/20 Hours, Minions, Field Day, Duffy School

Quick Version:  Open Saturday… 9:30 to 11:30, I hope it helps!  Field Day today, cross your fingers maybe Alice will get a ribbon!  Duffy School!  A sunny day on field day is all you could ask for in 3rd grade.  It also means school ends soon!  Full schedule at the bottom of page.

I hope life is good.  I am happy to sneak over to Duffy today.  Alice is wearing her 2006 Field day shirt!  Funny since she was born in 2007.  Apparently, we have “throw-back” jerseys for elementary field day.  I personally am wearing my Stuart the Minion Shirt today.  He is the one who plays the guitar.  Alice gave it to me for my birthday which currently makes it my favorite.  hahahaha

So enough of the silly!  Enjoy the day.  Do some healthy stuff or healthy eating.  Come get an adjustment when it’s not stressful and bring the kids… Some of the kids need a little adjusting…

While I am thinking about it, we do take a 3 day weekend Memorial Day!  But more on that later.

So be happy…

Dr. Rick

Slow version… haha.  Hope you are having a great week.  I am happy that spring is here.  I sneeze a lot under the flowering and sprouting trees but I don’t mind too much!
Katia turned 16 this week.  I am not allowed to post pictures.  Even my wife, Melanie, put only baby pics on facebook!  Kids are funny now a days.  I am very proud of her!  I remember her hiding little things under the cushions in the office and hiding in the cabinets of the old  office.  Wow… unbelievable.
Life is good.  So busy with soccer and recent wonderful parent visits and mother’s day!  May is busy.  It’s my 24th anniversary this month too!  So Life is Good….
So be well.  Be happy.  Keep sending your friends and family please!  Always let us know what we can do to make things better for you.
Teachers!  Don’t be nervous about your upcoming HSA plans.  We can help you through and have really affordable plans that include the whole family.  You’ll be surprised!  Send me a return email if you have concerns!
Lots of happy back at you.

5/6 from Dr. Rick.. Friday last chance! No Saturday this week!

5/6/16  Friday 11 to 1 and 3 to 6!  Saturday closed this week!

Usual hours below after a little banter…

Hello!  I hope you are dry and warm!  I am burning pellets and wood in the stove again!  Well, truth be told, my mother and father are here from Florida and they are freezing!  Hence, the numerous heat sources and dampness removers!

Saturday is Katia’s Confirmation.   Oh rites of passage of our youth!  So… I will not open Saturday am… your last chance is Friday 11 to 1 and 3 to 6!

Happy Mothers Day.   I am a big fan of mothers… maybe everyone is but I am blessed with an especially great one.  So happy, happy Mothers Day.  Sadly, my Melanie is a soccer Mom… that means she has at least two games on Sunday!

Enjoy the week.  Thank you for sending the new people.  Lots of new people every month.  It really helps!

So be well.  Come on down sooner rather than later and get some healthy building adjustments.

Lots of happy to you,

Dr. Rick
